I always like to attend wedding party that being held around noon. The atmosphere is more relaxing for all guests. Though naturally, it’s all depends on whose party and are there any dress code? The last one is always making me have mixed feelings. If I have the outfit that matched with party’s dress code then yay. Most of the time, I don’t have it and a bit of confused what to do about it. But anyway, here are what I get after attending several wedding parties (with no dress code, mind you) at noon:
I noticed that people tends to wear Batik or any outfit with traditional fabric. And the material either is the real hand-painted batik which is of course very pricey. Or simply printed batik that anyone can get their hands on via online shops.
I myself wear printed Batik, bought last year from online shop Chevia. It’s hurt to know that the dress is on sale now but well… life goes on…
Yeah, I was a bit surprised myself seeing one of the guests wearing jeans culotte to the party! Am I a bit behind lately about recent trend? So is okay now to wear jeans to wedding party?
Now, this is a bit tricky for me who dislike wearing high heels. I find high heels as gorgeous shoes and yes, with the right pair, it helps to improve your appearance. Obviously you become a bit taller (and for short girls like me, 10 cm high heels is totally helpful).
Last time I wore high heels about 2 years ago, and it really kills me. It look good on my feet, but I’m dying inside.
Though party at noon always less formal (at least those that I attended to), wearing sneakers is a big no-no. There are many cute shoes that won’t kill your feet, so better get a pair. Yesterday, happily I just wore …no… not the one on the above photo. I decided to wear my old wedges.
This is another reason I loves cut my hair super short. I don’t need to do anything. Sure, I probably could use hair gel or put something on my hair. But then again, I’m too lazy for that…
One can’t put all her accessories just like that. We will look like a walking stores and then becoming the talk of other guests. Especially if all those accessories are good jewelries…
Anyway, since my outfit has this golden pattern so I decided to wear the bracelet that I got from this giveaway. I also wore black ring, just one though as usually I wear more than 1.
No glam look
Nope, most of the woman wear natural-look make up and nothing too glam about it. Everybody seems just want to relax and have a bit of chit chat at the party.
I rarely see so many children during wedding party at night but doesn’t mean people avoid bringing them. Why not? After all, inviting one often means the whole family is coming. Unless, the couple put note on the invitation that you can only bring 1 person.
Looking forward to attend another wedding party at noon just like this. But, I think I have to at least get one pair of pretty shoes for this kind of event. Wondering is there any comforting high heels though?
